We have also developed lab-scale batch and continuous processes for folding papers, composites and light metals into the folded tessellations products.

What is folding?:
Folding is the process of taking a flat sheet of material and creasing it along lines that make up a tessellation. This process combines the flexibility of 3D Printing with the economy and speed of traditional fabrication using sheet materials and is the most efficient method to create unique patterns, devices, and structures via low-cost manufacturing.
